About last update : version 12.5.0

  • I read that the bashing system will be instaured on Alpha and Bemuda :

I tried spying on active players on both servers and it's not possible, so my question is : Are attacks allowed again ? if so, for how long ?

I wouldn't want to see all my fleet crashed just for the sake of testing the combat simulator.

    12.5.0-beta3

The combat calculation has been adjusted to handle a higher number of ships. This is the first step in a continuous improvement of the combat script. For a few days, the Combat Simulator may show unusual results, but it will also be updated to match these changes before the live release.

This is the time to try out the epic Alpha battles with those accounts you have there! ;)

Please be aware that the Bashing system will be adjusted on Alpha and Bermuda to 6 attacks per 24h. In case you want to prevent it, please set vacation mode.

  • Hello!

Yes, the attacks are allowed since we want to see how the combat system behaves. Bermuda was missing it but should now be possible as well.

As for until when, there's no date, as long as we see that it needs to be tested.

  • yeah

I was raided last night , thankfully with no big damage.

maybe a warning in the lobby before logging into the game or at least an ingame message would have been nice.

for me vacation mode is activaed untill no attack is restored.

  • Guys, keep in mind that Bermuda and Alpha are test servers and not normal servers to play - those are the live servers. Even if needed they might be wiped out (we try to avoid that as much as possible, but you never know).

Any action for any test that is needed will be applied and information will be happening mostly on the forum and discord Origin section.

Why was there no prior notice or announcement?

    6 months of work wasted

  • We're playing on the correct test server and under the conditions provided to us. Changing the conditions overnight is unfair. If this is a server that will be deleted, why is there a dark matter sale? I'm not at all satisfied with the service I've received.

  • Even beeing a test server, you're testing things thanks to the work we make there. An ingame warning with at least 48 horus antecipation would show some respect for the work each one makes at the account. This was on pourpose to get player off guard e make combats with large fleets happen.

You can say that it can even be deleted and bla bla bla... even in test server you must show respect for the players that keep Ogame going forward. This was dirty from gameforge. Period.

  • Hi everyone,

Our Super Co.Ma has already explained to you that Bermuda and Alpha are test servers, and for this reason, game conditions can be different and constantly changing.

What surprises me, however, is not seeing your excitement: this activation of attacks was necessary precisely to test the behavior of the combat system after the latest updates — updates desired and awaited by everyone, loudly requested across all communities!

Test servers are always “ahead,” and personally, I would have expected an enthusiastic reaction, because what happens here anticipates what we will see in the future on the live servers.

I would also like to make a small clarification: official communications regarding tests are not only posted on the Origin forum and Origin Discord, but are also shared in your community boards to make information as widely accessible as possible.

In any case, you are important to us , and the feedback you provided is absolutely valuable: we will carefully evaluate every suggestion, trying to listen to you as much as possible. We just ask you to understand that, in some technical or operational circumstances, it is not always possible to provide long-advance notice, even if we understand how useful it would be for everyone.

Finally, since no one has mentioned it yet, I would like to remind you that on the Alpha server, if you lost your fleet during this test, you have the possibility to clone your account again.

We truly appreciate your effort on the test servers and sincerely regret any difficulties or losses that some of you may have experienced.

Your contribution is valuable and essential to help OGame progress.

For any doubts or needs, we are here, and you can continue to write on the forum or ticket: we will do our best to support you.
