About last update : version 12.5.0

  • Dear boss, everyone was caught off guard by the update. Most people don't have enough fleets to fight the top players, and that's the problem.

    Everyone wants to share information and contribute to the test. As you can see, many people took vacations. If we keep this test short and the next one is three months away, most people will be prepared by then. Then we'll get good results and share them.


    And by the way, if you give the alpha universe 10 million dark matter particles, that would be great. :love:

    to say the truth I first joined Bermuda to precisly be a tester and be ahead of other players in discovering what game forge has prepared for the rest of us.

    I was truly excited when achievements and avatars where tested on the server, with task/reward event that gave some life to my game.


    Sadly this hasn't been the case for a very long time and a lot of new stuff and events have been immediately implemented to live servers like the artefact shop event, and just recently the P17 asteroid events. So what exactly are we testing if most of the updates are bachground improvements not really visible to us.


    I'm not much into combat and what I really like about the game is the strategic and growing aspect, so I really won't be excited to beeing annihilated by a player 100 times stronger than me just to test the combat simulator.


    I also Joined Alpha and managed to out grow my original account, I even tripled my points, a lot of time and effort was poured into that, so saying that I can recopy my original account doesn't really make sense to me :).

    Why be so frustrated because attacks are active?

    It's a test server, guys, not a server for performing or investing yourself fully.

    I get the impression that some people here are on Alpha to play Ogame in ‘no attack’ mode, but that's not the basic idea. Change games; there are some really fun full PVE games out there.

    I also take advantage of the attack block to do ‘personal’ tests, but there's no point in complaining when attacks are reactivated.


    Let's just be patient.

    Here is the changelog (annonced for live servers)


    - Fixed combats with an extremely high amount of ships not being calculated or not being calculated properly

    - Raised the amount of possible characters to 4.000 for chat messages

    - Fixed the tactical retreat text being wrong in combat reports when the defending fleet has fled

    - Fixed class names in reports being displayed in server language rather than user language

    - [OGM]Now supports images getting displayed in messages

    - [OGM]Added info about lifeform buildings and lifeform researches to espionage reports

    - Fixed missing image for the anniversary avatar from the season unlock

    - Fixed the text field inputs not being properly clickable for the large shield dome inside the Combat Simulator



    Does this mean that testing is over and that we are getting closer to the previous No-Attack status on Alpha & Bermuda ?

    Yes, we will keep the normal attacks on PTS for more time. If there's any change on that regard we will add to the announcements. :)

    I will keep Vacation Mode for more time, because my fleet is very reduced to test any attack.
