Bug Report - New Combat Script

  • Hello Prongs & the rest of the staff team,


    you mentioned in last post that there will be issues with the new combat script. As I am testing right now I wanted to give you some data as feedback so the devs can keep optimizing.


    My friend and I tried the following combat report.

    As you can see it says I lost 1.2million Battlecruisers but the result was a loss of over 300milion battlecruisers on my side.

    I think the calculation in the CR itself looks correct. 1.2 Million loss makes totally sense when crosschecking these numbers. 300million loss is a bit runreal xD

    This is the API above. I dont need a refund. I hope the data will help you optimize the Combat system. For smaller CRs with less ships everything works totally fine.

    I will check with the devs about the losses

    The issue with the draws - and the persistent plasma in several shared CRs - has been already identified and it is fixed. It will be rolled out soonish.

  • You are welcome! Happy to see that you are getting closer to a solution :) I will try my best to help you with more data. If you need anything special let me know and I will test into that direction :)


    What do you mean by persistent plasma?


    Also is it the best way to post here or is a ticket better?

  • There are a few reports that ended with a draw due to a single plasma or defense not being destroyed from round 3 until the end.


    As you wish, I'm looking at both but I'd say that it is easier here since everyone can see what has been already reported and talked, preventing different people reporting the same (which ends up as more time consuming since I'm going through all the CR reports to forward).


    Important is to add always the cr-api, that is quite helpful. :)

  • Ofcourse I will. I am probably one of the oldest accounts on Bermuda. Have done some weird stuff during lifeform update and provided some help I think


    There are some players who are also willing to do combat tests with me if they are given some fleet

  • So this Fight Ends Draw. That was quite unexpectet. And the Fight lasted only 2 Rounds.

    Seems that the combat was before the last version was applied and so still affected with the "draw" issue that should have been fixed.

    Do you have any after 14:30/15:00 CET?

    Absolutely. Prongs I will happily help out combat-testing if you can borrow me some fleet... and if you give ajanga his 103m DS back.
