[22.07.2026] The production calculator has been migrated to a new framework. It now takes Life Form bonuses into account. A section with priority mine upgrades has also been added to the "All planets" tab.
-
[24.07.2026] The Graviton Technology and Terraformer calculators have been migrated to a new framework. They now take Life Form bonuses into account.
-
[27.07.2026] The flight time calculator has been migrated to a new framework. It now lets you search for save spots with a one-way flight only. A tab with the fleet recall calculation has been added to the arrival time panel.

- The moon calculator has been migrated to a new framework. The moon creation section now takes the Supra Refractor into account and shows the details about the moon size and the creation chance. A new section with the calculations related to the Sensor Phalanx has been created.
- The expedition calculator has been migrated to the new framework as well. There you can now import the ships'' cargo capacity bonuses from the API 2 string on the "Fleet" page.

[2026-08-02] Fields that take the bonus of the 18th Rock'tal technology into account have been added to the production calculator.
If the calculator still gives wrong numbers, please write to me on Discord or through the feedback form on the site, stating your email.

- Flight calculator: a warning is now shown if the universe settings or the map of populated systems fail to load — until now the calculation silently used default values.
- Production calculator: the Crawlers boost (the «Ion Crystal Modules» research) now also reduces crawler energy consumption by the same percentage that used to only increase production.

Hey Ogeeon, great work with this tool, using it regularly.
One thing that annoys me with the cost calculator: The requirement to put in a research lab level when I only want to see the cost of something. For example I want to look up cost of Astro 33, I type it in, and it doesn't accept the input saying my research lab level is too low. Then I have to go back and type in a random level.
Minor annoyance, but if you have some time, would be great for UX to fix it.
-
Hey, RiV. Thank you for you kind words

my research lab level is too low
It's supposed to save parameters in the browser's local storage. Unless you have that disabled/forbidden, put "12" in the relevant field once and forget about it - that's the expected UX.
Doesn't it work for you that way?

Oh, the storage works fine, no worries there!
It's more my own workflow. I'm regularly on new computers, different browsers, fresh profiles, so I end up re-entering the baseline levels fairly often anyway.
The other half of it: when I look up Astro 33, I'm usually theory-crafting for future planning rather than checking whether my account can actually research it yet. So the lab requirement is validating something I wasn't asking about. If it ever seems worth the effort, a soft note instead of a hard block would cover both cases nicely.
Either way, genuinely great tool, thanks for all the work you put into it. Just wanted to share how I end up using it.

a soft note instead of a hard block
Fair enough. It's not that tool's job to enforce requirements, after all.
Though as the tool needs at least some level of the lab, in such cases I'll make it update the level automatically with a warning message saying what was done and why.
Thanks for the tip.

- The costs calculator's LifeForms tab now has fields for the researches that boost the player classes: Rock’tal Collector Enhancement and Kaelesh Discoverer Enhancement, each with its own lifeform level. The Collector class bonus is now taken into account both in the SC and LC capacity behind the "Transports needed" row and in the hourly production on the "One item - multiple levels" tab.
- On the same page: if the entered Research lab level is too low for the selected research, the calculator now raises it to what the research requires and says so, instead of simply refusing the calculation. A level computed through the Intergalactic research network is left unchanged.
RiV- Actual verify+update happens in the OnBlur event, so you'll have to tab out of that field or so smth similar. I hope this works for you.

[2026-08-10] In the Costs calculator the "Common" tab now has an "Alliance class is Traders" checkbox. The +5% bonus to mine output is now taken into account in the hourly production on the "One item - multiple levels" tab — just like in the production calculator.

[2026-08-16] Flight time calculator: a "Moon destruction" mission type has been added (labeled "Destruction" on the page). Since OGame 12.9.0 a fleet on this mission travels at a fixed speed of 310 — drive levels, the player class and the universe fleet speed no longer affect the flight time.

[2026-09-01] Trade calculator: a purchase can now be split by a percentage of the resource being sold, not of the one received. Selling 1,000,000 Deuterium with a 50% share counts Metal and Crystal as halves of 500,000 Deuterium each.
