    Hello everyone !


    First of all, we would like to thank Ogame Infinity writer Aleks. I have adopted the Ogame Infinity add-on developed with the MIT License as our central startup. And I started developing a new plugin. The purpose of the plugin will be to increase the user experience.


    Why didn't you get involved in Aleks' project?


    Because my goal will be a slightly different and regionally localized plugin, my first start was to equip the plugin with Turkish language first.


    So will it stay like this?


    Of course not, I'm planning to write a new plugin on a separate branch in the project we took over with MIT license. And I will be developing the project that I took over with MIT license, again with MIT license. Thanks to Aleks for his contributions to the Free Software World. I love projects developed as open source.


    Our first goal on this path that I started today is to be a tolerable plugin since our source codes are on github.


    This is an Add-on admissions application.

    Hi,


    OGame Infinity accepts pull requests on Github. For a sole translation, a new addon seems to be overkill.

    Please get in contact with Infinity developers and/or make a pull request to have your translations added to Infinity.


    So far your changes don't really justify a new addon. It looks to me like everything you're planning to do can be added to Infinity with pull requests.

    At the moment it's just a copy of Infinity with Turkish translation.


    As a note, in your youtube video you say you want to make Expedition fleets fully customizable. Please be aware that that would be a Commander feature and unfortunately not tolerable.


    For now your Tool is not tolerated.

    I stated that I would advance and change the plugin from here. I did not specify a single feature. There is an MIT undergraduate project and I want to progress in a separate branch through that project,
    I will make special innovations for mostly Turkish players that appeal entirely to the local. Right now this plugin needs to be tolerated before I can move this forward.
    My only issue is that the plugin is not in Turkish.

    Isn't it tolerable or not related to the features of the plugin?

    Why isn't it tolerable when currently there isn't a single code that breaks exceptions?

    You can say that you don't like the plugin, you can say that it is not promising, but it is not reasonable to call it intolerable.

    I'm planning to do something for the community with enthusiasm here, I don't understand why you are discouraging me before I even start.

    Free software and open source project, every code will be constantly updated.

    Instead of telling me to take it to the tolerable class, or make development and become original, you say continue from there even though I explained it above.

    I talked to my friends from the Infinity team and explained the situation to them on discord, and the MIT license already gives this freedom.

    I will share my every update with all the notes.
    Let me try to move from a separate branch.

    Also, you probably misunderstood the video you watched because of language differences. There I am trying to explain the actually function of the plugin. I need approval to move forward with the tests. Because the Turkish Community does not allow us to use unapproved plug-ins.

    Could it be a plugin whose only goal is to add a Turkish option? I could send a PR request and continue using it. I already explained that above.

    My aim is to take a step by getting permission to proceed legally while on the road.

    I set my heart on this job and I will do this job with love in a separate branch. I just wish you'd choose to support me instead of blocking me.


    I also don't want to add anything forbidden.

    Forbidden features

    Again, you are requesting toleration for something that is basically a copy of an existing addon.


    There is basically two options for you:

    1. Work on Infinity itself and add the features you want to add via pull requests.

    2. Work on Infinity as base and publish it when you have an addon that justifies being published separately.


    You don't need toleration to develop an addon. You can do development on the Public Test Server. If you're unsure about a feature being allowed or forbidden, you can ask here or on Discord in the tooldevs-chat channel.


    An Infinity clone with Turkish translation + few more features will not be tolerated.

    I can go on with this project, but I won't be able to get approval without a proven innovation. So I have to keep working, right?

    Or will I never get approval if I continue on this project? I want to understand it correctly and work accordingly.

    At the 4:08 mark of your video you say "These ship counts will be made customizable. This is also where we will start to be different from Infinity."

    Custom fleets are a Commander feature and won't get tolerated.

    Yes you understood correctly. You don't need toleration for development. But as long as it isn't tolerated you can only use it on the Public Test Servers.

    Now you are right about the part you mentioned in the video because what I meant there was yes, it was one of my plans to have the ship numbers changeable. It didn't even cross my mind that it wouldn't be legal, it was seen in the same video again, I am the emperor, so I perceived this feature as normal in my own way.
